双重反叛的新先锋理念——《法国中尉的女人》中的“元小说”再审视

《法国中尉的女人》是一部采用"元小说"技巧的后现代实验小说,更是一部以"元小说"为主导元素的"先锋理念小说"。其重要性不仅在于"元小说"这一引人瞩目的后现代实验技巧或创作方法,也在于福尔斯通过"元小说"方式所表达的具有反叛性的新先锋理念。这部小说既是对已经成为正统和主流的现代小说观念的艺术反叛,也是对二战后以"新小说派"为代表的激进先锋艺术潮流或理论思潮的审美拒斥。福尔斯借助叙述者-元小说评论者之口,表达了异于传统或不同于文坛主流认知的多重先锋主义小说思想,他的先锋人物观与先锋作者观、读者观相辅相成、交错融合,他对小说男女主人公人物形象和结局的构想,清晰地反映出其先锋小说理念在创作实践中的具体化或艺术内化过程。
