The influence of Angle class Ⅲ malocclusion on patients′ oral function, profile and psychological health is severe. So the early orthopedic intervention is often provided to the patient in clinic. During early treatment, the orthopedic force is used to interfere the growth of mandible. The mandibular condyle, which influences directly the morphology and function of mandible, is one of the major growth and development sites of the face.
