Tumor necrosis factor（TNF）-α is involved in many physiological and pathologic processes. It has extremely important effect on bone resorption of inflammatory diseases. The biological ability of tumor necrosis factor receptor has evident correlation with pathologica bone remodeling and it has a significant role in bone resorption of inflammatory disease with jaws. This paper discussed the biological characters of TNF-α and its receptors that
affect bone remodeling and bone resorption of inflammatory diseases with jaws.
