Excepting properties of agglutination, platelet contains lots of growth factors especially wound healing and bone regeneration related, while concentrated platelet-rich plasma（PRP） that is rich in growth factors plays an important role in repair of local tissue damage and bone regeneration. Until now, the application of PRP has been an important surgical technique. But there is no uniform standard about its best preparation method, the most accurate
counting of platelet and related experimental studies, so its clinical values still lack convincingness. This paper reviewed the research progress of preparation principle and preparation methods of PRP.
