Dental pulp stem cells（DPSC） are a kind of dental pulp resided cells retaining their potentials of generation and differentiation, which are able to differentiate into post- mitosis cells after being stimulated. In the previous researches, it is always demanded to separate the differentiated stages of DPSC which are always identified by the molecular markers in odontoblast. With the developments of these researches, the options of molecular markers that could be applied became more and more abundant. The purpose of this article is to review the research progress of odontoblast specific molecular markers.
