Oral implant has been widely accepted as a common dental restoration. The diameter and length of the implant, the inserting position for the implant, the analysis of force acting on the implant, the design angle for the abutment, esthetic design of the gingival margin responsive to the implant and the inclination of cusp, are the important factors in determining the key to a successful oral implant and restoration. This article summarized the factors in successful oral implant and restoration.
