龋病表现为牙本质无机物脱矿,多种外源性和内源性蛋白质水解酶可分解牙本质有机质。基质金属蛋白酶(MMP)是存在于细胞外基质中最主要的酶系统,可降解牙本质有机质,故在龋病的发生发展过程中发挥着重要的作用。本文就MMP 家族,高糖调节基质金属蛋白酶及其活性,高糖调控MMP 活性的信号通路,MMP 和高糖与龋病的关系等研究进展作一综述。

英文摘要

Caries is a process of degradation of dentin matrix by various proteolytic enzymes from bacteria and human host after dentin demineralized. Matrix metalloproteinase(MMP), as the main endogenous enzymes, play important roles in caries development. The research progresses on MMP activity regulated by high glucose put a new direction for caries development in diabetics.
