A comprehensive set of correlations were found among head posture, craniofacial morphology and malocclusion. During the period of growth and development, the habits of some head postures can greatly influence craniofacial morphology. Head posture is one of important factors, which influences occurrence, development and relapse of malocclusion and is paid more and more attention to by orthodontists. Researches on associations of them are always the hot spot in the fields of orthodontic. In this article, the relationship among head posture, craniofacial morphology and malocclusion is reviewed.
