Extraction of the third impacted mandibular tooth is often a rather complicated surgical process. Postoperative complications occurred frequently and influenced patients′ routine life and work. Grounding on our clinical practice, we reviewed and integrated related researches to present this article for discussing. We hope that it could be a reference for clinical doctors to make an appropriate treatment plan and decision for the patient.
