Safe and effective approaches for dentin-pulp complex regeneration and repair are the focus of scientist’s research around the conservative dentistry. Whereas, all current therapies have limitations. Gene therapy and stem cell-based therapy which are brand-new biological therapies build more favorable situation for tissue regeneration and repair comparing with traditional treatment. This review will summarize current knowledge of gene-and stem cell-based therapies for dentin-pulp complex regeneration and repair.
