Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of root canal filling in one time fiber post immediate restoration when injury caused dental pulp exposure. Methods 30 patients with 49 teeth were involved. After complete root canal therapy, teeth were treated with fiber post and porcelain-fused-to-metal crown. The occurrence of pain after treatment and the effects after two years were observed. Results Five teeth occured medium pain after treatment in 24 hours. After two years, three teeth had root apical inflammation. One fiber post fractured. Conclusion The effects of root canal filling in one time and fiber post immediate restoration when injury caused dental pulp exposure is ideal.
