Objective By analyzing the distribution of maxillary central incisor crowd translucent layer, to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical classification about the distribution of the translucent layer. Methods By continuous cluster sampling for the study sample, the use of direct observation target to collect population distribution of natural teeth translucent layer. Results The proportion of the population distribution of natural teeth translucent layer type from big to small was ‘translucent layer covering the entire tooth surface’(48.39%), ‘translucent layer covering at the cutting edge’ (28.36%), ‘translucent layer covering the cutting edge and the adjacent surfaces’(17.25%), ‘translucent layer covering the adjacent surface’(5.99%), and women natural teeth translucent layer covering the cutting edge of the tooth and the adjacent surface of probability than men. The older had the better upper central incisor translucent layer covering than the younger. Conclusion The clinical classification of the maxillary central incisor translucent layer distribution of the necessary and scientific.
