Objective Compare the success rate of 3 different types of orthodontic adhesives as occlusive pad. Methods One hundred and eighty-nine patients, with a total of 480 teeth were evaluated, 3 different types of orthodontic adhesives were applied as occlusive pad. The sample were randomly divided into 3 groups, 160 teeth per group. Group A used glass ionomer cements, group B applied GC Fuji LC, and group C used Resilience. We followed up for 6 months, and compared the detachment and success rate of orthodontic adhesives.
