As the development of the conservative treatment, the resin-bonded bridge is a well-accepted clinical treatment to replace missing teeth, because of less tooth preparation, fewer working hours and lower cost. Recent clinical studies showed 2-unit cantilevered resin-boned bridges（CRBB） can reduce the interabutment stress and retainer debonding. Abutment selection, retention form and retainer design, metal surface treatment and luting cement are the keys to avoid the failure of CRBB. Two databases, Pubmed and China National Knowledge Infrastrudure were used to search the literatures of CRBB and investigate the effection of above factors on the longevity of CRBB, which provide the information for the clinical application of CRBB.
