Objective To determine the association between serum uric acid levels and acute cerebral infarction. Methods 700 patients with acute cerebral infarction were recruited in the study, with 700 healthy individuals serving as controls. Blood samples of the participants were collected to measure uric acid, triglyceride, cholesteral, blood glucose, urea and creatinine.
