In order to determine the encoding parameters (mixing size, generation size, and redundancy rate) of Network Coding with Multi-Generation Mixing before sending packets, we put forward the concept of effective data delivery rate and discuss the problem under the condition of successful delivery probability?more than 99% and the largest effective data delivery rate. Numerical analysis results show that coding parameters can be obtained when MGM decoding success rate meet the requirements.
