This paper presents an adjusted cluster based energy-aware data brokerage algorithm for data collecting, storage, and query needed in wireless sensor network, called ACEDBA. ACEDBA divides nodes into many clusters. The nodes in the cluster collect data, and the cluster heads gather aggregate, forward data in the clusters. Data can be stored centrally in the sink, or be stored in the cluster heads, or locally in the nodes. The algorithm introduces the energy hierarchical consumption mechanism, and can dynamically select and adjust the cluster heads. It can ensure the energy balance between the data storage and the inter-cluster data forwarding query. Simulation results reveal that, compared with typical data brokerage algorithms, ACEDBA has advantages in the total energy consumption, the lifetime of WSN, and query success rate.
