In this work, the expression and the function of the gene At4g19430 under various abiotic stress was studied. The results showed that the expression of At4g19430 significantly increased after heat stress. Expression patterns in various plant tissues indicated that At4g19430 dominantly accumulated in leaves. At4g19430 GFP fusion protein was observed mainly in the cytoplasm. The T-DNA insertion mutant line was obtained.Then the differences of survival rate between wild-type and mutant line under normal and heat stress conditions were analyzed. The results suggested that the mutant line was more sensitive to heat stress.
