Pemphigus is a severe, chronic, autoimmune bullous disease affecting the skin and mucous membranes. Recently, glucocorticoid and immunosuppressor are the most common treatments for pemphigus. However, these treatment may result in unfavorable effects, such as hypertension and marrow suppression, during treatment. Thus, the combination of other treatments with glucocorticoid and (or) immunosuppressor should be evaluated according to the patients’ condition. In this article, we reviewed the non-glucocorticoid and non-immunosuppressor therapy.
