Adentigerous cyst is a common developmental odontogenic cyst, which affects dentomaxillofacial development of adolescents and interferes with tooth eruption. Marsupialization is widely used by orthodontists to treat dentigerous cysts, and it can benefit the natural eruption of a cyst-associated tooth. This article reviews relevant studies to provide the relative factors for predicting the eruption of cyst-associated teeth after marsupialization.
