Objective To study and evaluate the clinical effects of immediate soft-lining on temporary dentures for posterior teeth. Methods Selected 58 patients with temporary dentures treated in our hospital between July 2009 and May 2013, and they are randomly divided into test group and control group. Wipe off the teeth only on the stone model in the test group, and soft-lining on the temporary dentures when patients wearing it. Modificate the stone model according to Felly principle, the patients wear the dentures directly after extracted the teeth in the control group. They were all followed up at the 1st week, the 5th week and the 9th week, the clinical effects of the two groups were compared.
