The metastable equilibriua of the quaternary system Li+,K+//CO32-,SO42--H2O at 273 K was studied by the isothermal evaporation method. Metastable solubilities and densities of the solution were determined experimentally. Based on the experimental data, the metastable equilibrium phase diagram and water content diagram were plotted, respectively. The phase diagram in the quaternary system had three invariant points, seven univariant curves, and five crystallization fields corresponding to K2SO4·Li2SO4,K2SO4, Li2SO4·H2O,Li2CO3,and K2CO3·3/2H2O. Carbonate potassium (K2CO3) had the biggest solubility and strong salting-out effect on other salts.
