The solubilities of CuCl2 in 2-methyl-1-butanol and 3-methyl-1-butanol systems were measured ,respectively. Saturated vapor pressures of 2-methyl-1-butanol and 3-methyl-1-butanol containing CuCl2 at different temperatures were determined with static method. Based on the principle of virtual binary systems, the vapor pressures were satisfactorily correlated by clapeyron equation and antoine equation, respectively. The correlations were successfully used to predict the vapor-liquid equilibrium of the 2-methyl-1-butanol-CuCl2 and 3-methyl-1-butanol-CuCl2 system.
