BiOBr/I Nanocomposites were synthesized through a precipitation ion exchange. Its photocatalytic activities were investigated by the degradation of Rhodamine B(RhB) under visible light irradiation. The prepared samples were characterized by XRD, FESEM, EDS and XPS, etc. The results show that BiOBrI 1 complex is made when BiOBr nanosheets plug directly BiOI microspheres. Its higher photocatalytic activities are due to the unique microstructure morphology and to the appropriate band value and proportion of BiOBr in the continuous co dissolved solution after the effective composite.
