中文摘要
协商民主理论在不断论争中,其研究范围和研究内容得到极大的拓展和深化,已成为回应当今西方社会现实之挑战和有效提升民主质量的一种重要理论。协商民主理论的推进者通过回应协商民主在理论和实践中面临的规模、合法性和理性选择难题以及文化多元主义、社会不平等、社会复杂性等方面的挑战,为丰富协商民主理论作出了贡献。审视西方协商民主在理论与实践中何以须为何以可为的基本问题,可为我国的民主政治建设和治理变革提供诸多有益思考。
