中文摘要
19世纪欧洲发展的一大特征,是以民族主义为导向的民族国家建设。在此过程中,欧洲文化认同呈现出四分五裂的状态。尽管存在着浪漫主义关于整体欧洲的构想,但这些构想却不能在民族国家的政治框架内实现。与此同时,欧洲向海外的扩张,却在欧洲之外为不同的欧洲国家公民提供了文化认同的想象空间,尽管这种想象往往伴随着带有欧洲中心主义色彩的文化优越感和种族主义的价值判断。
