Taking Italian luxury brands such as Gucci, Prada and Ferragamo as examples, 155 Italian small and medium-sized leatherware companies were selected as research objects to analyze the cooperation mode between Italy's small and medium leatherware companies and luxury brand corporations. In the aspects of the eight production processes, it includes R&D, patterning, trial production, stock preparation, production, refurbishment, quality inspection, and packaging. Focusing on the utilization of regional advantageous resources, traditional techniques, and cultural heritage, this paper has explored the relationship between the regional resource endowments in the Italian leatherware industry and brand value constructions. It also provides experience and reference for technology personnel and designers in leatherware enterprises in China. It involves in carrying forward national skills and culture, innovative design and craftsmanship, and enhancing brand value and influence.
