Footwear is a key medium between the human foot and the road surface, and it can affect the functional stability of the lower limb joints, bones and muscles. It can also affect the balance stability of the human body during walking. A good footwear structure design reduces the wearer's risk of slipping. At present, the relevant literature mainly focuses on the wearing comfort of shoes, and pays less attention to the balance stability of the human body during walking. Therefore, this study systematically searches the subject, and it mainly analyzes the influence of heel height, sole thickness and hardness, sole slip design, sole geometry design and upper design on the balance stability of the human body during walking. The study found that low-heeled, hard-soled shoes help the body maintain balance stability during walking. The design of the sole with a large coefficient of friction, the special sole and the height of the upper can balance the stability of the human body ,which also need to be combined with gait. For analysis, more abundant biomechanical parameters were selected for further analysis.
