海藻糖在小鼠中能够防治雌激素缺乏引起的骨质疏松症和防治脂多糖诱导的骨质疏松症,这些作用是由于海藻糖下调了一些与骨代谢有关的细胞因子,如白细胞介素-6和肿瘤坏死因子-α的分泌以及促进骨保护素的表达而产生的。
