A method of multiple ontology mapping based on reference ontology, called MOM RO,was put forward. In the process of mapping multiple ontologies,MOM RO extracted the shared concept set from sets of source ontologies, and created a reference ontology. Then, the reference ontology was used to create a uniform vector space model (VSM).Then concepts in source ontologies were represented as vectors in the VSM.In this way,the similarity of concepts was calculated by the Euclidean distance of the corresponding vectors. Finally, the mappings among source ontologies were created.Experimental results indicated that MOM RO performs encouragingly well when creating mappings among multiple ontologies.
