Theobjectiveofthisarticlewasexploringtheleachingkineticsofarseniccontainedinhigharsenicdust.Higharsenicdustfromleadsmelterwasprocessedbyleachingwithwater.TheeffectsofpH,liquid-solidratio,reactiontimeandtemperatureontherateofarsenicleachingwerestudied,andSEM,XRDandEDSwereemployedtocharacterthestructureofrawmaterialandleachresidueforinvestigatingthekineticsofarsenicleachedfromdust.Itwasdemonstratedthattheliquid-solidratioandleachingtemperaturehasthegreatestinfluenceontheleachingrate,andthattheleachingkineticsofarseniciscorrespondentwiththeJohnson-Mehl-Avrami(JMA)model.Thediffusionisthebottle necklimitingleachingrateofarsenicwithintheselectedtemperaturerange,andthekineticequationis-ln(1-α)=9.4×106exp[-503 80/(RT)]t0.310 6withtheleachingprocessfrequencyfactorof9.4×106andtheapparentactivationenergyof50.38kJ/mol.
