Inordertodetermineeffectivelythetemperaturefieldofreinforcedconcreteslabs,basedontheconventionaltemperaturetheory,theeffectofmoistureclogwastakenintoaccountbyintroducingthecorrectionfactorofmoisture,andthenonlinearfiniteelementprogramwasdevelopedforthetemperatureoftheconcreteslabs.Thedevelopedprogramwasusedtoanalyzetheeffectofcorrectionfactoronthetemperatureoftheconcreteslabs.Thecomparisonshowedthatthetheoreticalresultsareingoodagreementwiththetests,whenthecorrectionfactorofmoistureis2.0.Withintherangeofengineeringapplication,theeffectofparametersincludingthermalconductivity,evaporatingtemperature,theemissivity,theinitialdensityofconcreteandtheconvectioncoefficientonthetemperatureoftheconcreteslabswasanalyzed.Resultsshowedthatthethermalconductivityisthemainfactor,andtheemissivityofexposedsurfaceisthesecondaryfactoraswellastheconvectioncoefficientofunexposedsurface.Theevaporatingtemperaturehasanimportanteffectonthetemperatureplateauoftheslab’sunexposedsurface.Theinitialdensityofconcrete,theconvectioncoefficientofexposedsurfaceandtheemissivityofunexposedsurfacehavelessinfluenceontheslab’stemperature.
