中文摘要

针对实际业务流的尺度特性,首先利用分形布朗业务模型FBM推导临界时间尺度的理论依据,证明业务流性能不仅与相关性有关,而且与具体的网络环境(如缓冲区、利用率大小等)存在较大联系。同时提出采用临界时间尺度和小波变换去刻画多重分形下因尺度因素引起的性能变化。通过大量仿真发现其结果与实际情况吻合,而业务流在有限缓冲区下的重置效应和截断效应正好能解释这一现象,证明了该思路的正确性。

英文摘要

With the scale characteristics of real network traffic, a theoretical derivation of critical time scale(CTS) based on FBM model was presented, and it was found that the performance is not only related to the correlation but the network environment (such as buffer size, utilization and so on). At the same time, a novel depict method of traffic performance in CTS and wavelet transform was proposed. The numerical simulation was in agreement with the fact, which could be explained by the phenomena of resetting effect and truncating effect of the limited buffer.
