Since the psychological feelings of products are decided by the three dimensional form feature lines,a product form design method based on quantizing form feature lines was put forward.Based on the Kansei engineering technology,the form perceptual cognitive factors were quantified.Semantic differential, factor analysis and multiple linear regression methods were used synthetically to deal with product images data,then the relations between images and feature lines were determined.Operating product form feature lines helps to develop the product which meets user's perceptual image.The cell phone form was taken as an example to test the validity.
