Generalized signcryption can not only obtain signcryption but also can provide encryption and digital signature. Combined with certificateless cryptography, the formal definitions of certificateless generalized signcryption and the security model were proposed. Furthermore, a concrete scheme was presented with security proof in the random oracle model. The comparison with the existing certificateless signcryption schemes showed that this new scheme is efficient.
