分布式视频编码器中边信息的重建质量直接影响整个编码器的率失真(Rate Distortion, RD)性能。为了提高分布式视频编码的边信息重建质量,从而优化其RD性能,在介绍最基本的边信息内插算法基础上,提出了3种策略对边信息帧进行重建优化:在利用传统单向运动估计得到运动矢量初始值后,首先利用交叠对称双向运动估计、自适应加权运动场滤波对运动场进行优化重建,然后通过加权交叠运动补偿减少边信息帧的方块效应。实验结果表明所提出的算法相对于其他边信息重建算法在不改变编码端的运算复杂度的情况下,明显提升了视频编码系
英文摘要
The quality of side information influences the overall Rate-Distortion (RD) performance of the Distributed Video Coding (DVC) codec. In order to optimize the RD performance of DVC by improving the quality of side information, based on the introduction of basic way to interpolation the side information, three different strategies was proposed to optimize the side information.Firstly,the initial motion vectors was obtained using traditional unidirectional motion estimation,then the Overlapped Symmetric Bi directional Motion Estimation and Adaptive Weighted Motion Field Filter were used to improve the motion field,and Weighted and Overlapped Motion Compensation was lastly used to reduce the block artifact. Experimental results showed that compared to other algorithms, the proposed strategies can significant improve the RD performance of the video coding system with out increase encoding complexity.
