后现代语境下的媒体奇观——凯尔纳对媒体现象的阐释与反思

"媒体奇观"和"景观社会"在理论内涵上有关联也有区别。总统政治奇观作为众多媒体奇观中的一个类别,体现出媒体奇观诸多复杂的特征。面对媒体奇观中权力的压制、利益的争夺、话语的粉饰,凯尔纳倡导批判的媒体教育学,以期人们更清醒地面对媒体现象。媒体奇观是后现代语境下的一种媒体文化现象,凯尔纳凭借多种具体的研究方法以及"知识社会学"式的宏观方法论对媒体奇观进行了有效的阐释。
