"新闻驯化"是指新闻从业者在建构国际新闻事件时试图利用某些方式,以便使新闻报道与本国受众的历史、文化、政治与社会等方面建立起某些意义上的联系。在中国大陆,新闻驯化的理论视角长期为研究者们所忽视。"马航事件"发生后备受全世界新闻媒体的关注,提供了一个检视新闻媒体如何驯化外国新闻的典型案例。根据一组"驯化变量",我们对一个由《中国日报》《纽约时报》和《泰晤士报》所构成的研究样本(N=293)进行定量的内容分析,系统地比较三家报纸在驯化性新闻的比例、驯化程度、对几类行动者的提及率以及话语引用方式等方面的异同,细致展现出"马航事件"的新闻驯化面貌。
